Canon revealed the specs for their EOS M Mirrorless digital compact camera. The EOS M will include new video, comperssion and lens options. Weighing just under 300g, the camera has features like multi-shot noise reduction function to reduce the noise by combining the four images and HDR mode to synthesize three different exposure.

Panasonic presents their updated version of the Lumix LX5 digital compact camera, with a fully redesigned 24mm f/1.4 lens and larger 1/1.7″ 10.1 Megapixel MOS sensor. This update puts its stamp to camera’s low light performance and signal-to-noise ratio for greater picture clarity. Also the camera is now more responsive because of the Panasonic’s Light Speed Autofocus. The Panasonic Lumix LX7 now records video in 1080p, has a 3.8x Optical Zoom, RAW and RAW+JPEG image recording, and full manual controls.

iCam Project

The iCam is a hyper-realistic project imagined and rendered by designer Antonio DeRosa. A recent report tells that Steve Jobs wanted to bring the digital photography to a new level, as we were used with Apple’s other products. This is just a view of how the final product might look.

The iCam concept sports a modular design, in which the iPhone docks in the rear of the camera unit and controls the camera.

In my point of view is not a bad ideea at all. Just imagine how cool would be to have a DSLR camera using just the iCam and your iPhone. All we have to do is to wait..
