Apple to launch completely redesigned iPhone in Fall 2012

Apple’s next iPhone product will be launched in the fall next year, around the same time the iPhone 4S was launched this year.

Apple is planning to use rubber or plastic material, similar material that is used to their bumper cases. This material will be used to build the new iPhone’s case, likelihood will be used as a bezel surrounding the front edge of the phone, like the iPhone 3GS bezel, and it will serve two purposes. First, will join the glass iPhone face with a new aluminum back plate, and it will also cover a redesigned antenna system that surrounds the device, allowing Apple to use aluminum for the back case, without having to use a large plastic insert above the antennas, as Apple does on its iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.

BGR.com reports that Apple’s next-generation iPhone will have an aluminum back case, similar to the one used on the iPad 2, and a larger display, around 4-inches.
